What teens think...

~ 1 Timothy 4:12

Michiana Deco-TEC Ministries is a lay-led multi-denominational Christian ministry with the express purpose of enabling teens to experience the presence of Jesus Christ.  It is the prayer of this ministry that God’s presence will become a living reality as the participants grow into a Christian community during the weekend. TEC stands for Teens Encountering Christ. Deco-TEC welcomes all teens seeking a deeper faith in Jesus Christ. Its weekend activities are designed to reinforce individual commitment to Christ.  Using the Holy Scriptures as a foundation and guide, Deco-TEC challenges teens to turn away from all that is contrary to biblical teachings and all that will cause a block between us and God. Although Michiana Deco-TEC Ministries has maintained much of the original DeColores dynamics, it is a separate organization with no affiliation other than support. These bylaws are intended to protect the norms and uniqueness of this ministry which is developed around a weekend of talks, meditations, and celebration of the three days, plus the apostleship of the fourth day activities. The weekend is not a retreat. The atmosphere differs greatly from most retreats as the teachings of Christ are discussed in a joyful climate with song and lighter sessions.
